November 8 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] has repurchased four own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, it said on Monday.
As of November 1, Alfa Plam held 14,864 own shares or 9.45% of its capital, the company said in a bourse filing.
In January 2020, Alfa Plam said it plans to buy back a total of 15,733 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, representing up to 10% of its share capital, in order to prevent distortions in the securities market and damage to the company.
The company is one of 11 members of the BELEX15 blue-chip index of the Belgrade bourse. It has a free-float factor (FFc) of 14.43%, which accounts for 1.83% of the total capitalisation of the index.
