February 6 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] has repurchased 63 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, it said.
As of February 5, Alfa Plam held 63 own shares, or 0.004% of its capital, the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Last week, Alfa Plam said it plans to buy back a total of 15,733 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, representing up to 10% of its share capital, in order to prevent distortions in the securities market and damage to the company.
The company is one of ten members of the BELEX15 blue-chip index of the Belgrade bourse. It has a free-float factor (FFc) of 23.25%, which accounts for 3.46% of the total capitalisation of the index.
The company’s shares closed flat at 27,000 dinars ($252/230 euro) on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
