March 23 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] has repurchased 60 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, it said on Monday.
As of March 23, Alfa Plam held 3,436 own shares, or 2.18% of its capital, the company said in a bourse filing.
In January, Alfa Plam said it plans to buy back a total of 15,733 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, representing up to 10% of its share capital, in order to prevent distortions in the securities market and damage to the company.
The company is one of ten members of the BELEX15 blue-chip index of the Belgrade bourse. It has a free-float factor (FFc) of 23.25%, which accounts for 3.46% of the total capitalisation of the index.
Alfa Plam last traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on March 19 when it closed at 25,000 dinars ($227.1/212.7 euro) as ten of its shares changed hands.
