BELGRADE (Serbia), April 5 (SeeNews) – Serbian lender AIK Banka saw its net profit rise 27.1% to 4.3 billion dinars ($37.1 million/34.7 million euro) in 2016, from 3.4 billion dinars in the previous year, data from the country's central bank, NBS, shows.
AIK Banka's net interest income edged up 0.3% to 7.2 billion dinars, while net fee and commission income rose 5.6% to 1.1 million dinars, according to the 2016 financial statement of the lender posted on the website of NBS.
Net expenses for impairment of financial assets and credit risk off-balance sheet items fell to 259.8 million dinars in 2016 from 1.9 billion dinars in 2015.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 98.9 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 129.2 billion dinars at the end of 2016.
