November 15 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], the former operator of the international airport in Serbia's capital Belgrade, recorded a net profit of 44.43 million dinars ($395,200/378,900 euro) in the first nine months of 2022, as compared to a loss of 136.7 million dinars in the like period of last year, it said.
Revenue rose by 21.3% on an annual comparison basis to 526.1 million dinars in the period under review, while operating expenses increased to 684.5 million dinars from 650.2 million dinars, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The company's earnings per share equal 1,270 dinars, up from a loss of 3,870 dinars per share in the first nine months of 2021, the filing read.
In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia covering the airport’s financing, operation, maintenance, extension and upgrade of Belgrade airport. The concession took effect in December 2018.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla shares traded at 1,500 dinars per share at the close of the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
