BELGRADE (Serbia), November 13 (SeeNews) – Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], the former operator of the international airport in Serbia's capital Belgrade, reported on Friday a net loss of 548.9 million dinars ($5.5 million/4.7 million euro) in the first nine months of 2020, versus a profit of 76.7 million dinars in the like period of last year.
In the third quarter alone, the company's turned to a net loss of 197.1 million dinars from 52.4 million dinars profit in July-September 2019, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
Total revenue fell to 256.3 million dinars from 393.9 million dinars, while total expenses grew to 793.9 million dinars from 276.6 billion dinars in the first nine months of 2019.
In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia covering the airport’s financing, operation, maintenance, extension and upgrade of Belgrade airport. The concession took effect as of December 2018.
