April 29 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], the former operator of the international airport in Serbia's capital Belgrade, reported on Thursday that its net loss came in at 290.01 million dinars ($2.59 million/2.46 million euro) in 2021, down 64% compared to 2020.
Revenue jumped 87% to 698.7 million dinars from 372.7 million dinars recorded a year prior, while its expenses decreased by 18% to 953.1 million dinars, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
The company's loss per share came in at 8.28 dinars in 2021, as opposed to 22.82 dinars per share a year earlier, the filing showed.
In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia covering the airport’s financing, operation, maintenance, extension and upgrade of Belgrade airport.
Earlier this month, the company said that the passenger traffic in the first three months of 2022 grew by 160% compared to the first trimester of 2021 with 743,000 passengers serviced in the three-month period.
