August 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit in the first seven months of 2019 increased 12.9% on the year to $3.993 billion (3.617 billion euro), data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
The country's exports edged up 0.5% to $11.435 billion, while imports grew by 3.4% to $15.428 billion, the office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio fell to 74.1% from 76.3% in the first seven months of 2018.
In July alone, Serbia's exports went up 6.1% on the year to $1.738 billion and imports grew 13.5% to $2.449 billion.
