November 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit shrank 5.3% on the year to $5.353 billion (4.466 billion euro) in the first ten months of 2020, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The country's exports went down 4.4% to $15.678 billion in January-October, while imports fell by 3.8% to $21.030 billion, the office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio edged down to 74.6% from 74.9% in the first ten months of 2019.
In October alone, Serbia's exports went up 8.9% on the year to $1.945 billion and imports rose 3.6% to $2.455 billion, resulting in a $584 million deficit.
