July 16 (SeeNews) - Serbian textile company Maille Pirotex plans to open a tailor shop in its factory in Free Zone Pirot, deputy managing director Gorica Slavkovic has said.
"We are planning to open a tailor shop here and employ 150 to 200 workers," Slavkovic said in a video file posted on the website of Serbian public broadcaster RTS on Sunday.
At the beginning of July, it launched a project for training of new employees at the factory in cooperation with Serbia's employment agency, the institution said last week.
The company decided to invest in Pirot due to the tax benefits and the easy access to workforce, the managing director of Maille Pirotex, Predrag Vukcevic, said in the video file.
Maille Pirotex, owned by French citizen Journo Richard Meyer, launched its factory in Free Zone Pirot in May and exports its entire output.
