BELGRADE (Serbia), December 4 (SeeNews) – Shares traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) closed mostly down on Tuesday in higher turnover, brokers said.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index lost 0.51% to end at 2,220.57 points. The broader BELEXline index fell 0.51% to 3,721.80. The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna advanced 1.12% to close at 1,226.42.
Total BELEX turnover rose to 486 million dinars ($8.8 million/6.0 million euro) from 252 million on Monday.
“The indices fell a half percent [today] but the turnover was solid,” Mirko Trivunovic, head of Fidelity brokerage, told SeeNews.
Blue chip AIK Banka was the most traded in turnover terms, dropping 0.16% to 9,227 dinars in 128 million dinars of turnover. Former blue chip Pupin Telekom was the second most traded, adding 1.01% to 1,000 dinars in over 125 million dinars of turnover.
“Nothing particular happened on the bourse today,” Trivunovic added. “AIK Banka was classically the most traded but there is no official information connected to the good trading in Pupin Telekom.”
