BELGRADE (Serbia), December 16 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares fell further in rising turnover on Wednesday , Belgrade bourse data showed.
The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 dropped 2.02% to 645.90 points after edging down 0.81% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline fell 1.37% to 1,261.51 points on Wednesday after shedding 0.80% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna backed off 1.75% 281.37.
Total turnover on the BELEX jumped to 90 million dinars ($1.36 million/933,374 euro) from 27.3 million dinars on Tuesday.
In single price trading, shares of car insurer AMS Osiguranje remained flat at 978 dinars in Wednesday’s largest turnover of 9.0 million dinars.
Blue chip engineering holding company Energoprojekt retreated 1.96% to 800 dinars in the second largest turnover of 6.9 million dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka backed off 1.61% to 2,512 dinars in the third largest turnover of 5.4 million dinars.
Cigarette producer Duvanska Industrija Nis, majority-owned by Philip Morris, posted the highest climb on Wednesday. Its shares soared 6.41%, ending the session at 2,890 dinars.
Lender Credy Banka posted the biggest slide. Its shares sank 8.05% to 3,200 dinars.
Fallers outnumbered gainers 21 to 10, while the share prices of 23 companies stayed flat on Wednesday.
