July 30 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade Stock Exchange lost ground on Wednesday as total daily turnover rose, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, lost 0.51% to 591.65 points after closing up 0.57% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline index was down 0.52% to 1,168.73, after increasing 0.55% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna shed 0.35% in euro terms to 183.72 after gaining 0.04% on Tuesday.
Total turnover rose to 37.8 million dinars ($434,000/324,000 euro) from 23.6 million dinars on Tuesday.
Lender AIK Banka [BEL:AIB] generated Wednesday's largest turnover, of 16.9 million dinars, closing up 0.62% at 1,630 dinars.
Rubber and chemicals group Tigar [BEL:TIGR] paced the session's gainers, closing 2.0% higher at 51 dinars with 25 shares changing hands.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] led the decliners, closing down 15.66% at 700 dinars with 20 shares changing hands.
