March 18 (SeeNews) - A consortium led by Polish company Rafako has signed a 34.4 million euro ($37.8 million) contract with Serbian state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) for the supply of a steam boiler, Rafako said on Wednesday.
The consortium will be in charge of the design, delivery, supervision of assembly pressure elements and commissioning of a modernised BB-2000 steam boiler for the Nikola Tesla B thermal power plant in Obrenovac, Rafako said in a statement.
The modernisation and commissioning of the steam boiler should be completed by November 2021, Rafako said.
The consortium also includes Rafako's Serbian subsidiary Rafako Engineering Solution (RES) and Serbian company VIA Ocel, the Polish company added.
Nikola Tesla B is part of the Termoelektrane Nikola Tesla (TENT) power generation complex, which also includes the TPP Nikola Tesla A, TPP Morava and TPP Kolubara power plants.
