March 4 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government approved the appointment of Miroslav Tomasevic as acting director of state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), the government said in a statement.
The former acting director, Milorad Grcic, resigned in January after both 620 megawatt (MW) units of Nikola Tesla B thermal power plant (TPP) were temporarily shut down in December due to a fire and a malfunctioning of one of its coal grinders.
According to the company website, Tomasevic was previously EPS executive director for electricity generation technical affairs.
