Sagintayev will discuss the potential export of Fiat Chrysler cars manufactured in Serbia to the Eurasian market with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on Wednesday, according to the statement.
In August, Kazakh economy minister Kuandyk Bishimbayev promised that the country would vote in favour of duty-free exports of Fiat Chrysler cars by Serbia at the next Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
Kazakhstan was the only country of the Eurasia Economic Union, a customs union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, that opposed Serbia's duty-free exports to the region because it wanted to protect domestic production.
Vucic called on Serbian construction companies to cooperate with their Kazakh peers in infrastructure projects which the Asian country implements with China under The Silk Road Economic Belt project. The project focuses on connectivity and cooperation among China and the rest of Eurasia.
He also explained that there are great opportunities for Serbian and Kazakh agricultural companies to set up partnerships for the export of food products to third countries.
