June 4 (SeeNews) - Serbian furniture retailer Nefa Namestaj's board of directors has decided to apply for the liquidation of the company, it said.
Nefa Namestaj has invited creditors to submit their claims no later than 120 days from the date of publication of the announcement, the company said in a notice posted on the website of Serbia's Trade Register on May 30.
According to Serbia's corporate law, any debt claims will be written-off if they are not submitted within the aforementioned period, the company said.
Last month, Serbian media reported that furniture manufacturer Spilit has closed on May 19 its factory in Vranje, in southern Serbia, without prior notice.
According to data from Serbia's Trade Register, Belgrade-based company Hollodex owns the entire capital of both Nefa Namestaj and Spilit. Hollodex is owned by Russian citizen Vitaliy Sergeev.
