August 16 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip cookware manufacturer Metalac [BEL:MTLC] said its net profit dropped 14.5% to 98.6 million dinars ($929,500/837,500 euro) in the first half of 2019, as costs rose faster than revenue.
Operating revenue rose 3% to 491 million dinars in January-June, while operating costs went up by 11.4% to 486 million dinars, Metalac said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
Sales revenue, however, declined 3.5% to 250 million dinars.
Metalac stock closed 0.45% lower at 1,990 dinars on Thursday when its financial report was published.
