October 30 (SeeNews) - Serbian company Baby Food Factory has opened a 34 million euro ($38.7 million) production factory in Dobanovci, near the capital Belgrade, the country's chamber of commerce said.
The factory already has 00 employees and the company plans to increase their number to about 300 by 2020, the Chamber of Commerce said in a statement on Monday.
The footprint of the factory is 33,500 square metres and its daily baby food production capacity is 50 tonnes.
The products made at the Dobanovci factory will be launched on the Serbian market on November 1.
The entire capital of Baby Food Factory is owned by Cyprus-based firm Charnesco Services Limited, according to data from the Serbian Business Registers Agency.
According to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the company is owned by Serbian entrepreneur Goran Vukovic who owns three baby food factories in Russia.
