BELGRADE (Serbia), November 30 (SeeNews) – Serbia's clothing company Mona broke ground for a new hotel, Mona Plaza, in Belgrade, the press office of the country's president said on Thursday.
"Serbia needs as many domestic investors as possible," president Aleksandar Vucic said in a press release.
According to local media reports, Mona will invest 30 million euro ($35.5 million) into the hotel, which will cover an area of 20,000 sq m and will offer 152 rooms.
Fashion house Mona was founded in 1989 in Belgrade. It produces men's and women's clothing and textiles, as well as a wide range of leather goods.
