March 14 (SeeNews) - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said on Tuesday that it has been accepted as a full member of the International Financial Consumer Protection Organization (FinCoNet).
Membership in this international organisation will enable the NBS to fully participate in all its activities, as well as further improving the existing cooperation with competent bodies of other countries to protect the rights and interests of users of financial services, the NBS said in a statement.
Founded in 2013, FinCoNet is an international organisation of supervisory authorities responsible for financial consumer protection through efficient and effective financial market conduct supervision.
