November 21 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange continued to drop on Thursday in quiet trading, as oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] dominated the daily turnover again, bourse data showed.
Blue chip NIS closed flat at 700 dinars in 1.6 million dinar turnover, the highest for the day.
Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] was the sole blue-chip loser for the day, shedding 0.61% to 3,280 dinars.
At the opposite end, industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] was the sole blue-chip gainer, advancing 0.61% to 13,100 dinars.
All other blue-chip shares closed flat, or did not trade on Thursday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the bourse, ended the session 0.07% lower at 763.55 points, after dropping 0.28% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, added 0.35% to 1,656.72 after closing 0.05% down on Wednesday.
The total trading turnover of the Belgrade Stock Exchange more than halved to 4.8 million dinars ($45,200/40,800 euro) on Thursday, from Wednesday's 8.7 million dinars, as 69 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 1.5 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
