March 24 (SeeNews) - Serbia expects to receive one million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine of China's Sinopharm in April, the Serbian government said, quoting president Aleksandar Vucic.
The shipment is expected to be delivered in the period between April 5 and April 10, 10, the government quoted Vucic as saying in a press release on Tuesday.
Vucic added that he sent a request to China's ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo for the delivery of the vaccines to be carried out as soon as possible, preferably around April 1.
Earlier this month, Vucic said Serbia has agreed on the construction of a factory for the production of the vaccine of Sinopharm on its territory.
