March 9 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government plans to retain ownership of power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) which it intends to restructure, energy minister Aleksandar Antic said.
The government is not considering privatising EPS but will keep the company in state ownership, strengthen and develop it, Antic said in a statement on Friday.
The government said in July 2018 it plans to change the legal status of EPS into a joint-stock company in 2020 in order to improve the viability of EPS and ensure its professional management.
