February 9 (SeeNews) - Serbia will invest around 20 million euro ($21.5 million) in the planned expansion of a state-owned tech park in the southern city of Nis due to begin in October, the science ministry said.
The expansion will involve the reconstruction and extension of an existing building, as during a second stage another building will be overhauled, the ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.
The proposed changes will increase the capacity of the park threefold, its managing director Marko Blagojevic was quoted as saying, without elaborating.
Fifty companies currently use the facilities of the tech park, which opened in 2020.
