October 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government plans to increase pensions by 5.4% from the start of 2020, finance minister Sinisa Mali has said.
In addition, retirees will receive a one-off payment of 5,000 dinars ($47.2 million/42.6 euro) on November 4 or 5, Mali said in a statement on Monday.

Serbia's budget surplus grew to 46.6 billion dinars in the first eight months of 2019 from 36.8 billion dinars in the prior-year period, according to finance ministry data.
