BELGRADE (Serbia), May 17 (SeeNews) – Serbia sold on Wednesday 20.9 billion dinars ($188.4 million/169.6 million euro) of seven-year Treasury notes in a reopening of the issue, well below its target of 48.1 billion dinars, the finance ministry said.
The yield settled at 5.60%, below the 5.75% rate achieved at the previous auction of the 110 billion-dinar issue, held on July 19, 2016, the ministry said in a statement.
Demand for the T-notes, which mature on July 21, 2023, totalled 21.7 billion dinars.
The sold government securities were equal to 43.41% of target.
