BELGRADE (Serbia), August 5 (SeeNews) – Serbia's government has proposed seven projects with a total value of 785.5 million euro ($930.2 million) for financing under the sixth round of investment grants of the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), it said.
The list includes railway and water transportation projects with a total value of 125.5 million euro, as well as projects in the environmental and energy sectors valued respectively at 45 million euro and 36.1 million euro, the government said in a statement on Wednesday.
The government has also applied for investment grants for 30 million euro projects for the rollout of broadband Internet in rural areas, it said.
The steering board of the WBIF is expected to make an official decision on the proposals in December 2021, the Serbian EU integration minister, Jadranka Joksimovic, said in the statement.
