July 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia plans to buy a majority stake in indebted aviation and air defence equipment manufacturer Kosmos fully-owned by the government of Bosnia's Serb Republic entity, Bosnian media reported.
Serbia is considering several options, including buying two-thirds of Kosmos' total share capital through one of its companies which is active in the industry, business news portal Capital.ba reported on Wednesday.

The potential deal will also see Banja Luka-based Kosmos pay off debt to creditors, while debt owed to local funds will be transformed into share capital, according to the media report.
Kosmos is active in the overhaul of radar, missile and computer systems. The company's production halls have a total built-up area of 32,000 sq m. It employs 150 people, its website shows.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
