- Serbia’s flag carrier JAT Airways has lost 500,000 euro since all planes were grounded on Tuesday afternoon over a strike at state-owned aircraft maintenance company JAT Tehnika, the carrier’s director General Srdjan Radosavljevic said. The planes were grounded until further notice. JAT Tehnika, which employs about 1,000, went on strike after JAT Airways failed to pay debt owed to the maintenance company, which caused a one-month delay in the payment of salaries at JAT Tehnika.

- Russia may lend 200 million euro to Serbia’s state-owned railways operator Zeleznice Srbije to finance modernisation projects, the company’s Deputy Director General Predrag Jankovic said.
- Serbia will open a tender for the construction of a motorway connecting Belgrade with neighbouring Montenegro by March 1, Serbia’s Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjic said.
