September 7 (SeeNews) - Presidents Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia and Hashim Thaci of Kosovo will not meet on Friday to continue their work on normalising bilateral relations, the head of Serbia's government office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, said.
"President Vucic will not meet the Pristina representatives in Brussels and the question is when and how we can continue the talks," Djuric said in a video file posted on the website of Serbian news agency Tanjug.
Serbia wishes to preserve normality and peace, but the threats to president Vucic and the territorial claims of Pristina ruin that process, Djuric said.
Last month, the European Commission said Vucic and Thaci had agreed to meet on September 7 to continue their work on normalising bilateral relations.
According to media reports, a change of the border between Kosovo and Serbia may have been put on the agenda of the negotiations.
Serbia resumed talks on the normalisation of relations with Kosovo in Brussels in June.
