January 20 (SeeNews) - Serbia issued a dual-tranche Eurobond worth a total of $1.75 billion (1.6 billion euro) on the international market amidst strong investor interest on January 19, the country's central bank said.
The five-year Eurobond is worth $750 million and the ten-year Eurobond is worth $1.0 billion, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a statement on Thursday.
The five-year issue has a coupon of 6.25%, while the ten-year issue carries a coupon of 6.50%.
Around 500 investors placed orders worth over $11 billion in the auction. The raised funds will be used for debt repayment and to ensure continuous growth of the economy, NBS said.
