June 8 (SeeNews) - Serbia and India plan to launch direct flights connecting the two countries' capital cities, president Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday.
"Both private Indian companies and our flag carrier, Air Serbia, will consider the support and subsidies that both countries would give to interested companies to establish a direct flight between Belgrade and Delhi," Vucic said at a conference with his Indian counterpart Draupadi Murmu in Belgrade, as seen in a YouTube video posted by state broadcaster, RTS.
Last month, Serbia signed an air transport cooperation agreement with the Maldives on the launch of a direct flight connecting the two countries.
