March 24 (SeeNews) - The Serbian government said it is increasing road toll fees by 14% for those who do not pay through the electronic toll collection device.
Drivers who use the ETC device will have their road toll fees increased by 8%, the government said in a press release on Thursday.
The new price list will enter into force on the eighth day after its publication in the Official Gazette, according to local media reports.
Following the hike, the toll on the 237 km motorway section from Belgrade to Nis, the country's third largest city, will increase to
1,015 dinars from 890 dinars. Drivers who use the ETC device will pay 961 dinars for this distance.
