March 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government has extended the mandatory self-isolation period of persons who had entered the country after March 14 to 28 days from 14, it said.
The curfew hours for all citizens were extended to 3 pm to 5 am over the weekend, while the one-hour window for citizens wishing to walk their pets was abolished, the government said in a statement on Saturday.
Earlier this month, the Serbian government introduced a night curfew for all citizens between 8 pm and 5 am. The curfew was extended to the period from 5 pm and 5 am last week. The country closed its borders on March 15, shortly after it declared a state of emergency.
Serbia has so far confirmed 741 cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and 13 deaths related to the virus.
