BELGRADE (Serbia), December 9 (SeeNews) – Serbian state-owned company Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije has completed the reconstruction of eleven train stations on the Resnik-Valjevo section of the railway line linking Belgrade to the Montenegrin port of Bar, it said.
The reconstruction works were executed by Serbian companies Raj Schwellen, Signaling, Milenijum, Progres, Galeb and Institut Mihajlo Pupin, and are part of a 300 million dinars ($2.8 million/2.6 million euro) project for the overhaul of stations on the Belgrade-Bar railway, Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije said in a statement on Sunday.
The list of reconstructed railway stations includes Bela Reka, AZD Barajevo, Stepojevac, Lajkovac, Vreoce, Lazarevac, Veliki Borak, Barajevo Centar, Slovac, Divci and Valjevo.
Russia's RZD International completed the overhaul of the Resnik-Valjevo section on November 14. A total of $79.9 million (71.7 million euro) was invested in the project.
