BELGRADE (Serbia), April 25 (SeeNews) – Serbia's government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China for the establishment of a joint investment cooperation working group, it said.
The working group will aim to advance economic cooperation between Serbia and China and support the launch of joint projects in third markets, economy minister Zorana Mihajlovic said on Wednesday, as quoted in a statement by the government.
In addition to infrastructure, the group will coordinate bilateral cooperation in industry and finance, and will also facilitate new investments and regional investment cooperation, Mihajlovic said.
The total value of the planned and currently executed joint investment projects in the field of transport amounts to 7.5 billion euro ($8.4 billion), she added.
A Serbian delegation led by president Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Beijing on April 24 to participate in the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
