BELGRADE (Serbia), August 5 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s government has set a mandatory limit of 53.50 dinars (0.46 euro/$0.47) on the retail price of a loaf of bread made from the most common T-500 type of wheat flour, the trade ministry said.
The maximum producer price of a loaf of bread made from T-500 flour is capped at 45.88 dinars, the ministry said in a press release on Thursday.
The highest margin rate for all other types of bread, calculated on the net invoice price minus rebates and discounts, is set at 40%.
The price limits will take effect on August 9 and will be in force for 30 days.
