April 8 (SeeNews) - Serbia's city of Vranje, in the country's south, invited bids for an overhaul of the public lighting system worth 477.16 million dinars ($4.4 million/4.05 million euro), it said.
The project includes replacement and maintenance of a part of the public lighting system meant to make it more energy-efficient, the city government said in a call for bids on Thursday.
The project envisages the replacement of 6,178 street lights with light emitting diode (LED) bulbs, and the maintenance period of 13 years, the documentation showed.
The deadline for submitting bids is May 31 at 12:00 pm, local time.
