December 23 (SeeNews) - The Serbian government adopted an energy support roadmap, meeting the conditions of a deal with the European Commission that would give it access to 165 million euro ($175 million) of EU funding, it said on Friday.
This document is focused on providing support to the most deprived households and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in these times of crisis and the country's energy transition, energy minister Dubravka Djedovic said, as quoted in a press release.
The Roadmap for Energy Support will further strengthen the country's institutional response to the energy crisis and is of great importance for further improving energy stability in Serbia, the statement added.
