SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 4 (SeeNews) – The countries in Southeast Europe (SEE) failed to achieve significant success in the fight against corruption over the past year, Transparency International's corruption perceptions ranking for 2013 indicated on Tuesday.
Five SEE countries improved their performance in 2013, five scored worse and two retained their positions, the Transparency International
ranking showed.
At the 166th spot, Albania scored worst among SEE countries, while Slovenia, at the 43rd place, performed best. The non-governmental organisation's ranking covers 177 countries.
