LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 17 (SeeNews) – The benchmark share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Monday, as reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] posted the biggest losses among the blue-chip companies, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Monday's session 0.14% lower at 978.70 points.
Sava Re's shares lost 1.94%, falling to 20.2 euro.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on Monday. The company's shares closed 0.51% higher at 196.0 euro.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed the largest portion of Monday's trading turnover - 1 million euro. The bourse's total regulated market turnover rose to 2.34 million euro ($2.5 million) from 825,510 euro on Friday.
