January 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian re-insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] was the top blue-chip gainer in Wednesday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
Sava Re shares closed 1.40% higher at 14.5 euro ($15.4) in a trading turnover of 25,230 euro.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE fell to 802,780 euro from 1.16 million euro on Tuesday. The largest turnover, of 170,960 euro, was generated by chemical producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG]. The company shares closed unchanged.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ticked up 0.04% to 773.30 points, after adding 0.09% on Tuesday.
The share price of financial services provider KD Group [LJE:KDHR] fell the most on Wednesday, dropping 2% to 8.83 euro in a trading turnover of just 730 euro.
