August 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) has replaced three components of its Islamic stock index SASX-BBI, following a regular index review, it said.
The bourse added ammunition manufacturer Pretis, electricity distributor Energonova and event organising company Poslovni Sistem RMK to the index, with effect as of August 1, it said in a statement on Friday.
Retailer UNIS Komerc, logistics company Borac Export-Import and metal supplier RMK Promet were dropped from the index.
The SASE BBI Islamic index, launched by the SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), is made up of shares of the top 25 companies on the bourse which work in line with the conditions from the Shariah methodology of BBI.
The SASE is one of two bourses operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is based in Banja Luka.
