August 2 (SeeNews) - A tender for the sale of the 24.6% state-owned stake in synthetic texture filaments producer Dunav AD has failed as no candidates placed bids, the country's economy ministry said.
The tender was declared unsuccessful on August 1 as no bids were submitted until the expiry of the deadline on July 29, the economy ministry said in a notice on Thursday.

On July 12, Serbia's privatisation agency invited potential investors to place bids in a tender for the sale of 24.6% stake in Dunav AD. The shareholding interest put up for sale is controlled by state-owned Akcionarski Fond Beograd and its price is estimated at 849,410 euro ($942,827).
Serbian company Simpol d.o.o. owns a 24.4% stake in the capital of Dunav AD, while holders of smaller stakes control a total of 51% among themselves.
