October 9 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla needs to boost its revenue from non-aviation services in order to make its business more sustainable, South Korea's Incheon International Airport Corporation's CEO Il-Young Chang has said.
The airport generates only 20% of its revenue from non-aviation services and needs to change this in order to be able to develop alone, Chang said in a video file posted on the website of public broadcaster RTS last week.

Incheon International Airport Corporation leads one of the four consortia expected to place binding bids in the tender for awarding a 25-year concession contract for operating the Nikola Tesla international airport. The South Korean company has joined forces with Turkey's Yatirimlar ve isletme and Russia's VTB Capital Infrastructure.
"We will work to make the airport more ecologic and green, in line with the global trends," Chang said.
Earlier this month, Serbia's government extended by one month the deadline for submitting binding offers in the concession tender to November 23.
The Serbian government owns 83.1% of Aerodrom Nikola Tesla, the operator of Belgrade airport. The company's net profit edged down to 3.2 billion dinars ($31.5 milion/26.9 million euro) in 2016 from 3.3 billion dinars in the previous year.
