December 4 (SeeNews) - Russia's Transneft Diascan, the technical diagnostics unit of state-owned oil firm Transneft, and Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf [ZSE:JNAF] have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at expanding their cooperation in the area of trunk line diagnostics, Transneft said.
The document was signed on December 3, on the sidelines of an international energy conference held in the Croatian capital Zagreb, Transneft said in a statement on Tuesday.
It provided no further details on the project.
State-controlled Janaf built and put into operation Croatia's oil pipeline and storage system back in 1979. Apart from crude oil transportation, it is also active in the storage of crude oil and petroleum products.
