May 8 (SeeNews) - Russian railway engineering company RZD International plans to take part in the privatisation of Serbian firms, the company's managing director said.
RZD International plans to set up a flexible and well-structured company in Serbia that will be able to carry out complicated railway infrastructure works, Sergey Pavlov also said on Sunday, as seen in a video file posted on the website of news agency Tanjug.

In April, RZD International said it completed ahead of schedule the rehabilitation of three sections of the southern part of Corridor X under a $38 million (35.4 million euro) contract with state-run railway infrastructure operator Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije.
Corridor X is projected to connect Salzburg in Austria to the Greek port of Thessaloniki, passing through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia.
