October 8 (SeeNews) - Russia's Nordwind Airlines and its sister company Pegas Fly have received the approval of local civil aviation authorities to launch services linking Bosnia's capital Sarajevo to several destinations in Russia, local media reported.
Nordwind Airlines obtained a permit to connect Sarajevo to Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Rostov-on-Don, whereas Pegas Fly received the green light to fly from Ufa, Perm and Yekaterinburg to the Bosnian capital, Ex-Yu aviation reported on Thursday.
The carriers need to seek approval from Bosnian authorities before launching the flights.
In Southeast Europe, Nordwind flies to North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia and Croatia. Pegas Fly operates services to North Macedonia, Serbia, Greece and Turkey.
