September 8 (SeeNews) - Russian biotechnology company Biocad has expressed interest in entering the Bosnian market, the government of Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Wednesday.
The company is currently carrying out the necessary procedures to obtain marketing authorisations for its medicines in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the government of the Serb Republic said in a press release.
Biocad operates 40 laboratories in Saint Petersburg and employs a total of 2,700 people, according to the press release.
Biocad's medicines have been developed for treatment of cancer, AIDS and Hepatitis C infections, multiple sclerosis and other disorders, according to its website.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
